That is how I currently feel. I'm not mad, and I don't need to potty. I just feel as if my place of employment is driving me insane and the cure is to get on the road headed for Shreveport. Unfortunately my office is open alllllll day tomorrow. So we won't be heading out of town for at least 26 hours. Bummer. Also this fabulous company will be open for business on Friday. Seriously?! Don't they know people need to shop!? Luckily I will be taking a vacation day. So bring on the food, family, football, friends, and shopping!! I figuratively cannot wait!

Sprinkles

I've been slacking.

I got burned by red beans tonight. On my arm.

I would rather run my dishwasher twice in a row than hand wash anything.

Walter is back to his jolly self.

Tyler has Bueno and I didn't eat there once while visiting last weekend.

I would like Santa to bring me a monogramming machine.

I am currently obsessed with Mumford and Sons.

I saw the above mentioned band at the House of Blues in Dallas on Thursday.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving at work. I'm taking honey bun cake.

I am disappointed in craft stores.

Sedrick Ellis is my favorite Saint for 2 reasons:
1. His last name is Ellis
2. He does the Peewee Herman dance every time he gets a sack.

I have not seen Casablanca.

80 degrees in November is not awesome.

I am a fan of modern medicine, including but not limited to: birth control, flu shots, intralipids, and Nyquil.

Call it bad luck

Three nights.
Three new recipes.
Three failures.

Matt wouldn't completely agree. He enjoyed Saturday night's soup. There's a good chance I'll make it again, but I know what to alter to make it not suck. Failure #1
Sunday night's soup would have been great. Unfortunately, in the excitement of going to pick up Walter I over cooked and burned it. Failure #2
I blame Monday night's honey chicken on a crappy recipe that will never be altered or attempted again. 6 chicken breasts down the drain. Failure #3

But I'm not discouraged. I've found a few great recipes so far. Matt (and sometimes the McP's) will continue to be my guinea pig while I build up my recipe arsenal.

Bliss

Yesterday Matt and I made two years! We officially celebrated on Saturday with dinner at Galatoire's.

Our main courses, red fish for me and stuffed eggplant for Matt, were perfect. I don't think it could have been any tastier.
Gifts were exchanged afterwards. My fantastic husband got me 700 thread count ivory Pottery Barn sheets with our monogram.

They are so soft and beautiful! Matt is a wonderful gift giver - I am so lucky!!
I gave him a jacket and monogrammed handkerchiefs. I guess we both had the monogram itch, but what a great itch to have!! If I had a monogramming machine my name and initials would be on everything! Maybe I should put that on my wish list. I wonder how much those puppies are...
We played it low key last night with crock pot pork roast, nintendo, and Ellen. Two ended on a high note and three has started off well - the sun is shining and I am happy. What more can you ask for?

Robes because we were chilly

Oatmeal birthday cake with owls

10:00 PB&J with ice cold milk and hot chocolate

Too bad tomorrow's Monday.

An apple a day my foot!

A spoonful of sugar comes in many forms.

Picked up for myself while getting my prescriptions.

And

Waiting for me when I got home.

Sad to say my booty still hurts on both sides (yes two shots). And I'm on 3 drugs. Forgive me if I fall asleep mid-conversation or start blabbering nonsense.
